Cancellation Policy
How to cancel your Digital Dineway subscription and what happens to your data.

1Cancelling Your Subscription
You may cancel your Digital Dineway subscription at any time, without penalty, directly from your account settings. No cancellation fee is charged.
To cancel: log in to your account → go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription, and follow the confirmation steps. You will receive an email confirming your cancellation.
If you experience any difficulty cancelling, please contact us at support@dineway.io and we will process the cancellation manually within one business day.
2When Cancellation Takes Effect
Monthly plans: your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have full access to the platform until that date, and you will not be charged for the next period.
Annual plans: your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual period. You retain full access until the period ends. Please refer to our Refund Policy if you wish to request an early termination refund.
Free trial: if you cancel during your free trial, your account is deactivated immediately and no charge is made.
3Effect on Your Outlets & Menus
Once your subscription ends (or your account is cancelled), the following applies:
- All QR codes generated by your account will stop resolving — guests scanning them will see a deactivated page.
- Your digital menus and kitchen dashboard will become inaccessible.
- Ongoing orders cannot be processed after account deactivation.
- You will no longer be able to log in to the admin dashboard.
We strongly recommend exporting your menu data and order history before cancelling.
4Data Retention After Cancellation
Following cancellation, we retain your account data (including menus, order history, and account details) for 90 days in a deactivated state. During this period, you may reactivate your account at any time by selecting a new plan.
After 90 days, your data is permanently deleted from our systems and cannot be recovered. If you require your data before deletion, please export it from the dashboard while your account is active, or contact us within the 90-day window.
5Reactivation
You are welcome to reactivate your account within the 90-day retention window by logging in and selecting a subscription plan. Your menus and settings will be restored.
After 90 days, a new account must be created and all menus will need to be set up again from scratch.
6Cancellation by Digital Dineway
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:
- Breach our Terms of Service.
- Fail to pay subscription fees after a reasonable grace period.
- Use the platform in a manner that is harmful, fraudulent, or unlawful.
- Are required to be terminated under applicable law.
In cases of termination for non-payment, we will provide at least 7 days' notice before deactivating your account. In cases of serious breach, termination may be immediate.
7Downgrading Your Plan
You may downgrade to a lower plan at any time from your account settings. The downgrade takes effect at the start of the next billing period. If you downgrade to a plan that supports fewer outlets or features, you will need to deactivate the excess outlets before the new period begins or we will automatically deactivate the most recently added ones.
